Exam & Certification

The course leads to the PECB Certified ISO/IEC 42001 Lead Auditor examination.

After passing the exam, candidates may apply for the appropriate PECB ISO/IEC 42001 Auditor credential. Depending on PECB's minimum professional and audit-experience criteria, the available pathway includes provisional through senior lead auditor levels.

Eligible partner-delivered self-study or e-learning training includes the first exam attempt, one free retake, the certification application fee and the first year of the annual maintenance fee within the applicable PECB 12-month cycle.


This E-Learning option is designed for learners who prefer structured digital learning through PECB’s online learning environment and included learning resources.
