Course Overview
ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Auditor develops the knowledge and skills needed to assess an information security management system against ISO/IEC 27001 requirements.
The course covers audit principles, preparation, evidence gathering, audit activities, reporting, nonconformities, follow-up and audit-program management, with reference to recognised management-system auditing practices.
It is aimed at professionals who conduct, manage, support or prepare for ISMS audits and assurance activities.

Exam & Certification
The course leads to the PECB Certified ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Auditor examination.
After passing the exam, candidates may apply for the appropriate PECB ISO/IEC 27001 Auditor credential. Depending on PECB's minimum professional and audit-experience criteria, this may include Provisional Auditor, Auditor, Lead Auditor or Senior Lead Auditor levels.
For eligible partner-delivered self-study or e-learning enrolments, the training fee includes the first exam attempt, one free retake, the certification application fee and the first year of the annual maintenance fee within the applicable PECB 12-month cycle.
